Model Renders & Concept Ideas for Deconstruction

This building has a strong implementation on construction, space and balance. I have noted the heavy weights of the concrete beams on the slender steel joists and columns, which give a sense of defiance in the terms of gravity. I wish to see what the building looks like without the heavy beams and focus on the space created by the supports and how the building through its construction stretch out into the distance with a sense of 'un-limitlessness' (inspired by the floating swimming pool). I will compensate the 'i' beams for things more useful like rooms having the roofing stretch out and extended to make overlapping intersections with each other. This way, there will be a chance to maximize the amount of space available to the building.

Video Demonstration
This video shows the construction development and process of layout. This is an important feature of the building as everything centers around the main beam- spreading out in equilibrium to create individual and unique spaces.

ASSIGNMENT 2 - CHOSEN PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE

HEMEROSCOPIUM HOUSE
Architect: Anton Garcia-Abril from Ensamble Studios

For the Greek, Hemeroscopium is the place where the sun sets. An allusion to a place that exists only in our mind, in our senses, that is ever-changing and mutable, but is nonetheless real. It is delimited by the references of the horizon, by the physical limits, defined by light, and it happens in time.
Hemeroscopium house traps, a domestic space, and a distant horizon. And it does so playing a game with structures placed in anapparently unstable balance, that enclose the living spaces allowing the vision to escape. Heavy structures and big actions are disposed in a way to provoke gravity to move the space. And this way the place is defined.
